Complete list of AMAA 2020 nominees and winners

- The Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) 2020 took place virtually on December 20

- Nigerian movie, The Milkmaid, was the biggest winner of the night

- Lesotho's This Is Not A Burial followed closely behind with four wins

- Nollywood stars, Ramsey Nouah and Maryam Booth also won awards

The 16th edition of the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) saw Nigeria’s The Milkmaid directed by Desmond Ovbiagele score five awards, making it the biggest winner of the night.

The award show which had its first-ever virtual edition hosted by actor, Lorenzo Menakaya, took place on Sunday, December 20.

Akin Omotoso‘s The Ghost and The House of Truth won the award for achievement in editing, Maryam Booth won best actress in a supporting role. Ramsey Nouah also won the award for best actor in a supporting role in Living In Bondage: Breaking Free.
