President Muhammadu Buhari attended the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) virtual meeting from Daura, Katsina state.
The FEC meeting was presided over by Vice president Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday, December 16.
Among ministers and top public servants who were physically at the meeting were National Security Adviser (NSA), Major General Babagana Monguno (Rtd), and the minister of health, Osagie Ehanire.
Also, the president's chief of staff, Ibrahim Gambari, was present at the weekly meeting.
Other ministers at the meeting include Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, Lai Mohammed, Zainab Ahmed, Adamu Adamu, Babatunde Fashola, Sabo Nanono, and Mohammed Bello.
The minister of environment, Muhammad Dingyadi, the minister of environment, Mohammad Abubakar, that of communications and digital economy, Isa Ali Pantami, defence, Major General Bashir Magashi (Rtd); aviation, Hadi Sirika; industry, trade and investment Otunba Niyi Adebayo were in attendance.
Moreover, the minister of state for petroleum resources, Timipre Sylva; minister of state for the Environment, Sharon Ikeazor.

The head of service of the federation, Folasade Yemi-Esan, and other ministers are participating in the weekly council meeting from their various offices in Abuja.
Meanwhile, Buhari arrived his hometown, Daura, Katsina state for a weeklong private visit. This was disclosed in a statement seen by Legit.ng which was released by presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, on Friday, December 11.
Legit.ng gathered that the president was received at the Umaru Yar’Adua International Airport in Katsina by Governor Aminu Bello Masari and his deputy, Mannir Yakubu.
In Daura, President Buhari was received by the Emir, His Highness Alhaji Umar Faruk Umar, who led the members of the Emirate Council.
Shortly after his arrival, the president received the gift of a horse and a decorated sword in his capacity as Bayajiddan Daura from the Emir.
According to the statement, President Buhari will carry out a number of private engagements while in Daura.
