Abike Dabiri announces release of Omah Lay, Tems from Ugandan police (photos)

Singer Omah Lay and Tems have finally been released from the Ugandan police after they were arrested following their performance in the country.

Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, took to her page on Twitter to share the good news to the joy of many Nigerians.

According to the journalist, the singers were released on Tuesday, December 15, and would soon be on their way back to their home country.

Dabiri-Erewa stated that Omah Lay and Tems are safely at Nigeria house in Uganda.

Bebe Cool was said to have put out a post on his social media page condemning the proposed show where Tems and Omah Lay were both billed to perform.
