The year 2020 was no doubt a very unique one for so many people all over the world partly due to the coronavirus pandemic and a lot of industries and businesses suffered as a result.

Despite that, the entertainment industry in Nigeria seemed to have handled the tough times well going by the number of celebrities who were able to get themselves luxury new properties.

Buying properties is one great way to show wealth in the industry and the choice of property also serves as sources of inspiration to fans.

Even though many shows were cancelled and public gatherings were banned, a number of Nigerian stars appeared to cope well and some of them even rewarded themselves for the tough year by buying expensive gifts.

He recently bought himself a Range Rover to the joy of fans. He said that it was an early Christmas gift.

2. Kemi Apesin:

Nollywood actress, Kemi Apesin, bought herself a new Ford SUV and she shared the good news with fans on social media. According to her, she got it out of her sweat.

3. Kemi Korede:

Another Nollywood actress, Kemi Korede, also joined the list of celebrities to buy cars in 2020.

She got herself a Toyota Rav4 2018 model and shared the news on her Instagram page.

4. Junior Pope:

Nollywood actor, Junior Pope, is another male celeb who broke the myth that only female celebs buy expensive properties.

The movie star recently bought himself a vintage car as an early Christmas gift. Obviously very proud of his new purchase, he shared a video of it on Instagram.

5. Juliet Ekeson:

Nollywood actress, Juliet Ekeson, was not left out as she also bought herself an early Christmas gift in the form of a Ford SUV.

6. Mercy Eke:

BBNaija 2019 winner, Mercy Eke, had fans rejoicing with her after she bought herself a brand new Range Rover to mark her 27th birthday.

7. Olamide:

Popular Nigerian rapper, Olamide, reportedly bought himself a Lamborghini Aventador. The machine is said to be worth over N218 million.

8. Dbanj:

Popular Nigerian singer, Dbanj, also expanded his garage in the year 2020 after spending millions on a new Rolls Royce.

9. Priscilla Ojo:

Perhaps the youngest celebrity to achieve this feat in 2020, Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo’s 19-year-old daughter, Priscilla, made her car debut by joining the Benz gang. The young lady bought herself a new ride and showed it off online.

10. Davido:

The DMW boss made headlines after he bought himself a brand new Lamborghini Huracan sometime in October 2020.

Davido who is also known for showing off his luxury acquisitions on social media, took to his Instastory to share videos as he took delivery of his fancy new ride.
