Popular Nigerian singer and Mavin star, Rema, recently added another well-deserved award to his collection.

In a post shared via his official Twitter handle, the talented entertainer revealed that he had won the Biggest African Music Exporter award for the year 2020 at the Muzikol Music Awards (MUMA).

The award came in after a weekend of back to back performances in the country's capital, Yaounde and Douala.

The Woman crooner thanked the country, saying they showed him so much love and would forever be in his heart.

He wrote:

Fans of the singer took to the comment section to congratulate him.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Rema won the award as the 2020 Best Male West Africa at the African Muzik Magazine Awards.

His boss and music mogul, Don Jazzy, took to his official Instagram page to celebrate the new win. Announcing the win, Don Jazzy called on his fans and followers to join them in celebration.

Other Nigerian artistes also won big at the award ceremony. Out of 27 categories, Nigerians won in nine places.

Simi, Mercy Chinwo, Flavour, TG Omori, and DJ Cuppy won an award each, while Burna Boy went home with two.
