President Buhari mourns death of Leadership newspaper publisher Sam Nda-Isaiah

President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the media fraternity, friends, and family of Sam Nda-Isaiah over the death of the renowned columnist.
The Nigerian leader while expressing shock and sadness at the passing of the Leadership Newspapers publisher described Nda-Isaiah as a friend and ally.
Legit.ng gathers that the disclosure was made in a statement on Friday, December 12, by the special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Femi Adesina.
President Buhari in a condolence message noted that the country lost a man of conviction, a resolute and dogged believer in a better Nigeria.
He went on to note that the one former APC presidential aspirant will be sorely missed.

Legit.ng previously reported that family sources confirmed that the veteran journalist was declared dead around 11 pm on Friday, December 11, at the age of 58.
Until his death, Nda-Isaiah was the publisher of Abuja-based Leadership newspapers. He headed Buhari’s presidential campaign publicity committee in 2003. He also contested for the APC presidential primary election prior to the 2015 contest.
Nda-Isaiah's death is coming a week after Domkat Bali, former minister of defence, passed away at the age of 80, plunging his family and close associates into tears and grief.
The octogenarian died on Friday, December 4. Bali was joint chief of staff between 1984 and 1985 when President Buhari was head of state.
He retired as a decorated military officer in 1990 and later emerged as Ponzhi Tarok, the paramount ruler of the Langtang in Plateau state, in December 2010.
In a related development, President Buhari mourned the death of Alhaji Abdulkadir Balarabe Musa, a former civilian governor of Kaduna state.
In a condolence message to the people of Kaduna state through his senior media aide Garba Shehu, President Buhari described the former governor as a "voice for the voiceless who remained steadfast in the call for good and inclusive governance."
