Lionel Messi’s contract at Barcelona will lapse in the summer of 2021 and so far, the Argentine is yet to put pen on paper for the renewal of his contract, meaning he will be free at the end of the season.

The Argentine is among the 30 most valuable players listed to be available on a free transfer next year according to a compilation by top outlet SPORTbible.

Bayern Munich’s David Alaba is second on the list as he is worth £58.5 million and there are huge chances he won’t remain at the club beyond next season.

He has been linked with a move to Premier League club Chelsea as AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma who is worth £54 million is also seeing his contract come to an end.
