A young Nigerian man identified as Chudi Ofili has joined the enviable league of the nation's citizens who are making great waves abroad.
In a tweet on Thursday, December 10, the man announced he just became a lawyer in New York, US as he shared the virtual oath he took.
Ofili said that he is happy and grateful for the opportunity of being called to bar in America. The two photos he shared showed a laptop connecting him to judges admitting the oath.

The man said that for other Nigerians who want the same, they could also write the New York bar exams and be on their path to be licensed.

As at the time of writing this report, his tweet has close to 6,000 likes with hundreds of comments as his fellow countrymen congratulated him for flying the flag high.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that another Nigerian, Chika Eze on Monday, June 8, was sworn to the State Bar of Georgia.
According to her, the ceremony was performed by Judge Emily K Richardson of the Fulton County Superior Court.
With the swearing-in, Chika’s name can now be found in the Georgia attorney directory and also the Nigerian Bar Association. She is under 30 years and has two bar licenses in the US and Nigeria.
