Nigerian basketball star, Bam Adebayo, has bought his lovely mother, Marilyn Blount, a new house in America to celebrate her 56th birthday in a glorious joyous momentum.
Marilyn Blount actually celebrated her birthday on Sunday, December 6, and to her greatest surprise, her son who recently signed a new deal with Miami Heat showed her a new home.
It was an emotional moment for the 56-year-old woman considering the pains she went through while raising her son who is now a star.
According to the report on ESPN, Bam Adebayo and his mother years back, struggled while living in a single-wide trailer.
The 23-year-old Adebayo explained that it was very tough for his mother over the years, stressing that he is happy to have fulfilled one of the promises he made to her.
"My mom never had nothing that she could call her own.
"So growing up and being able to do something different with basketball and be a special player, that was something that I've always had in my mind, I've always wanted to do. And just having the opportunity to do it for my mom is an incredible experience."
Bam Adebayo was born in New Jersey to a Nigerian father and an African-American mother and started his basketball career while playing school games.
He has been playing for Miami Heat since 2017 and Bam Adebayo is one of the team's best players this term.
