Mohamed Salah who plays as a striker for Liverpool has equaled Cristiano Ronaldo's Premier League goal-record of 84 following his impressive show against Wolves at Anfield.
Liverpool who are currently occupying second position on the Premier League table were brilliant on Sunday, December 7, scoring four goals against visiting Wolves.
The Egypt international scored the first goal for Liverpool in the 24th minute after a superb assist from Curtis Jones in which Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio was beaten.
Salah's goal against Wolves moved the former Roma striker to 84 after 131 games for Liverpool and Chelsea in the Premier League.
The 28-year-old however reached the figure in 65 fewer appearances than Cristiano Ronaldo who also scored 84 goals during his stint at Old Trafford.
Former Manchester United coach Sir Alex Ferguson was the one who signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Sporting Lisbon in 2003, and the Portuguese played 196 games before he left in 2009.
So far at Anfield, Mohamed Salah has won the Champions League and also the Premier League titles with the Reds.
Cristiano Ronaldo won three Premier League titles and Champions League at Old Trafford before he moved to Real Madrid.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is currently playing for reigning Italian champions Juventus where he has played 70 games netting 60 goals.

Since Nuno Mendes broke into Sporting CP's first team last season, the 18-year-old left back is among the best youngest and talented defenders in the world.
Five months ago, Sporting CP chiefs were able to convince the Portuguese player to sign a five-year deal, but Liverpool are not worried about such development.
According to the report, Liverpool are yet to establish any talk with the player or his agents, but doing so would be their top priority in January 2021.
