Jose Mourinho who is in charge of Premier League side Tottenham has stated emphatically that his wards have grown up following their impressive win over Arsenal in the topflight.
Spurs were brilliant on Sunday, December 6, as Son and Harry Kane scored the two goals which helped them beat the Gunners and returned to the top of the Premier League table.
The home team also welcomed 2,000 fans to their stadium for the first time since March as Tottenham produced one of their finest performances this term in English football.
Before they faced Arsenal in the Premier League London derby, Tottenham defeated Manchester City and also forced Chelsea to a draw at Stamford Bridge.
According to the report on UK Sun, Jose Mourinho explained that he can see that his players have really improved stressing that he was impressed with their game against Arsenal.
"We grew up. I can imagine lots of people can imagine three matches in a row against Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal would be a moment for us to drop points and go back to normality.
“But we didn't go back to normality, we are there.”
After 11 games played so far this term, Tottenham have gathered 24 points same as Liverpool who are currently occupying second position on the Premier League table.
Mourinho and his men will be facing Royal Antwerp of Belgium in their next match which will be in the Europa League.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Jose Mourinho and his wards at Tottenham were picked by Supercomputer as the club that would emerge champions of the 2020/21 Premier League season based on current form.
Tottenham have been incredible so far this season in the Premier League with Spurs currently occupying first position on the table and they have lost only one game so far.
According to the report, Supercomputer predicted that Tottenham would end up winning the Premier League title considering their superb form.
Supercomputer also picked Leicester City to finish as second-best on the final League table going by their incredible form after playing eight games so far this season.
