Liverpool superstar Alisson Becker has been listed among nominees for the best goalkeeper award by the world football governing body following his superb performances for the Reds.
Since joining the Premier League champions, the Brazilian has been superb as he also helped them to win the Champions League title last two seasons.
Alisson Becker joined Liverpool last two years from Roma, and so far, the Brazilian has played 74 games for Jurgen Klopp's side.
The 28-year-old will face serious battle to win this award from Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, Keylor Navas, Jan Oblak, Manuel Neuer and Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
He has also won the FIFA Club World Cup with the Premier League champions.
Despite being forced to leave Spanish champions Real Madrid by Courtois, Keylor Navas is still proving at French side Paris-Saint-Germain that he is one of the bests.
Real Madrid goalie Thibaut Courtois is also among the goalkeepers who will fight for this award next month.
FIFA will later narrow the list down to three finalists and the winner will be announced at The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony in Zurich on December 17, 2020.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how FIFA who are world football governing body have announced the names of the players who will fight for this year's Best Player award which was won last year by Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
Cristiano Ronaldo will once again go into a serious battle with Lionel Messi for the 2020 FIFA Best award with the likes of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah also nominated.
The FIFA Best awards was introduced four years ago by the world soccer ruling body in which Cristiano Ronaldo was crowned the winner in the first edition and also won it the second year.
Croatia international and Real Madrid star Luka Modric won the third edition of the awards and was also named the winner of the Ballon d'Or.
Argentina international Lionel Messi won the award in 2019 following superb performances for Barcelona in all competitions.
