Paris Saint Germain superstar Neymar reportedly placed a call through to Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos amid exit rumours from the Santiago Bernabeu.
The 34-year-old's current deal with Los Blancos runs out at the end of the ongoing season and the Parisians are hoping they can land the defender on a free next summer.
However, this will only be made possible if the Spaniard refuses to pen an extension with the La Liga champions.
Sport Bible citing AS claims PSG are willing to hand Ramos a blank cheque to dictate what he wants in terms of contract length and salary if they sign him for free.

And reports from Alfredo Duro on the very same TV programme, via Sport, claim the Brazilian winger reached out to Ramos on the phone and sold him the PSG dream.
Neymar was quoted to have told the Spanish defender that himself and Kylian Mbappe are willing to stay back at the Parc Des Princes if he chooses to join them next summer:
"Sergio, if you sign for PSG, know that I will renew the following day, but after me, Kylian Mbappe, will be. If you come to PSG, we win at least two European Cups."
Meanwhile, both Neymar and Mbappe will run out of contract with PSG in the summer of 2022 having joined the French team for about £300 million in 2017.
The Ligue 1 outfit is, however, doing all it can to ensure both stars stay at the club if they are to finally win the Champions League after losing in the final last season.
Ramos, on the other hand, has won four UCL titles and would give the Parisians some confidence to challenge for European glory having lost Thiago Silva to Chelsea in the summer.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Paris Saint Germain are on the trail of Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos as latest reports have it that the Parisians are prepared to offer the player whatever he wants.
The 34-year-old is reportedly interested in a fresh two-year extension of his deal, but Los Blancos are not prepared to change their one-year extension for over-30s policy.
According to French outlet AS and cited in SunSport, PSG are now interested and they are ready to offer the experienced player a two-year deal.
