Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could be restricted from honouring future international calls by Arsenal after the airport incident in the Gambia, according to Panther boss Patrice Neveu.
The Premier League club were not happy with how players were delayed at the Banjul international airport for six hours as the rest of the squad were forced to sleep on the floor.
Aubameyang posted a series of pictures of his teammates and crew on social media and stated that they were made to feel like hostages.
The Panthers were released on the early hours of Monday, November 16, day of their AFCON qualifier against the Gambia and lost the game by 2-1.
Investigations are currently ongoing regarding the incident at the airport and Gabon coach Neveu believes their talisman will not be released by Arsenal in their future matches.
Neveu was quoted by Daily Mail:
"Arsenal reached out to Pierre-Emerick after seeing him in bad conditions at the airport, it's over. They won't let him come again, and it will be the same for some of our players from who play for other top clubs in Europe."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has taken the positive side of their unpleasant welcome at the airport ahead of their AFCON 2022 qualifier against the Gambia.

The Gabonese team had defeated their opponents by 2-0 a few days earlier with Aubameyang among the scorers.
But as the Arsenal captain and the rest of the team arrived at the Banjul International Airport on Sunday, November 15, they experienced a delay.
