Days after the November 3 presidential election in the United States, President Donald Trump has finally acknowledged that Joe Biden, his rival in the poll, won.
Trump, however, insisted that the Biden won because the election was rigged.
He made this position known in a tweet he posted on his Twitter page on Sunday, November 15.
The tweet reads:
"He won because the Election was Rigged. NO VOTE WATCHERS OR OBSERVERS allowed, vote tabulated by a Radical Left privately owned company, Dominion, with a bad reputation & bum equipment that couldn’t even qualify for Texas (which I won by a lot!), the Fake & Silent Media, & more!"
President Trump in another couple of tweets also disclosed that he will not concede defeat to Biden, further alleging that the candidate of the Democratic Party only won "in the eyes of the FAKE NEWS MEDIA".
In an apparent reference to the lawsuits he has filed to challenge the results, the US president declared that he will win.
The US president tweeted:
Note that the claims made by the president in his tweets have been labelled as being "disputed".

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Prophet TB Joshua, the founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), advised President Trump to concede defeat.
Speaking to his congregation in a sermon on Saturday, November 14, Prophet Joshua called on President Trump to understand that in a democratic setting, elections are never about one candidate as the nation is bigger than even the president.
Without mentioning names, the Nigerian cleric said that whatever the case is eventually, losers of elections must accept the outcome and hope for the best in the future.
Meanwhile, there are fears that President Trump's perceived stubbornness will have serious implications for Africa.
Shehu Sani is one of those who believe that the attitude of the American president will make some African leaders more of tyrants in office.
Sani, a former lawmaker, said it was even more worrisome because the US is considered an exemplar of democracy.
