The wedding bell is ringing in the home of Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, as one of his sons, Bashir, is set to get hooked.
In announcing his forthcoming wedding to his fiancee, Halima Nwakaego Kazaure, Bashir released a pre-wedding photo of himself showing her off to the world.
He posted a two-part photo on his Twitter account with the caption: "My Nwakaego and I."
His fiancée, Halima Nwakaego Kazaure, also shared two photos of them, one in traditional outfit and the other in contemporary attire, with a caption and a brief history of their affairs.
She noted that their relationship started from DM to where it is now. Showering him with affection she claimed that he is the only one that can tolerate her excesses as she is a control freak while also noting that he is her complete opposite.
The fact that Bashir's fiancee has an Igbo name has attracted a lot of Nigerians. He has been criticized by some for marrying an Igbo woman, while some saw it as a political permutation.
