Davido who just released his highly anticipated third studio album A Better Time has praised one of the artists on his music label Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) Mayorkun.
Mayorkun who was born Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel to actor parents shared a video of himself singing to Davido’s latest album, A Better Time, and at the same time, praising him for blessing Nigerians with lovely and great music.
The Eleko singer tweeted a video of him sang and danced that he learnt music from the boss, referring to Davido.

In replying to Mayorkun’s video, the FEM singer thanked God for the day he found Mayorkun who has now turned to be his friend and one of the best artists on his label.

The singer’s body of work was released on November 13, 2020, as promised and in no time, fans had listened to all the tracks and shared their hot takes on it on their social media pages. The 16-track album featured both local and international artists like Tiwa Savage, Mayorkun, Lil Baby, Nas, and Chris Brown.
One of Davido's fans from the political circle is former vice president of Nigeria and the 2019 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar. The politician took to Twitter to congratulate the FEM crooner on the release of his highly anticipated album, A Better Time.
Atiku who insinuated that Davido ushered in a better time literally, wrote: "Congratulations @Davido for ushering in #ABetterTime."
In similar news, American rapper Nicki Minaj who is one of the foreign artists featured on Davido's new album, A Better Time, joined the list of people who have reached out to the singer after his album dropped on Friday, November 13.
One of the early highlights of the album was his Holy Ground track with Nicki which celebrated and honoured love. The track was one his fans anticipated for quite some time after Davido confirmed its existence earlier this year.
She sent a message to the Nigerian singer, congratulating him.
