Nigerian girl Chikemzi makes 9 As in her WAEC exams

- A young Nigerian girl, Ogwubie Chikemzi Praise, has made distinctions in all her WASSCE papers

- Many people have praised her brilliance on social media as people marvelled at the result

- Some of the subjects the girl wrote are physics, chemistry, and biology

A Nigerian student, Ogwubie Chikemzi Praise, has made nine As in her West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) papers. The news was made known by a Twitter handle identified as Ikwerre Youth Movement Television.

It was, however, not stated if the result was from the 2020 released results on Monday, November 2 which the board said 65.24% passed.

In announcing the result, the body wrote:

“This is to inform candidates that sat West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates, 2020 that the results of that exam will be released by@waecnigeria tomorrow, Monday, November 2, 2020 by 10:30am.”

Going by the screenshot shared by the handle, the lady subject combinations are data processing, geography, civic education, English language, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, and computer studies.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a 16-year-old girl identified as Ugboaja Chizobam Stephany emerged as the best WAEC candidate of 2019 after scoring As in all the subjects she sat for.

Chizobam who hails from Imo state and will be graduating from a school in Port Harcourt was also said to have received 100% scholarship to study abroad by a Nigerian living in the diaspora.

Facebook user, Okafor Judith Chinwe, shared a photo of her results and many social media users reacted to the post, praising the young academic genius for making her parents and nation proud.
