Ashley was born to Howard Stern, the famous radio personality, author and actor and Alison Berns, the actress.
It is reported that a mutual friend introduced Howard and Alison to each other, but at that time, Alison was not too fond of Stern. Her opinions began to change when they both started working together.
At the time, Stern was making a student film for a class, titled ‘Transcendental Meditation,’ and he approached her to appear in it.
On their first date, they went to watch a movie named ‘Lenny.’ She was Stern’s first girlfriend in college and remained the only one. Howard Stern admitted to knowing that he wanted to marry Alison Berns within a week of their relationship.
The two finally got married on June 4, 1978, at the ‘Temple Ohabei Shalom’ in Brookline, Massachusetts.

Howard Allan Stern is an American radio and television personality and author. He is best known for his radio show, The Howard Stern Show, which gained popularity when it was nationally syndicated on terrestrial radio from 1986 to 2005.
At the beginning of his career, Howard worked in an advertising agency, Benton & Bowles. From 1976 to 1981, he worked in several radio stations, such as WRNW, WCCC, and WWWW.
In 1981, he moved to a different rock station in Washington, D.C. named WWDC. The next year, he entered into a five-year deal with the radio station WNBC. For this job, he was paid $ 1 million.
On TV, he appeared in the show Negligeé and Underpants Party in 1988. He has also worked on several TV shows and radio. He is most popularly known for his show, The Howard Stern Show.
He has also worked in America’s Got Talent as a judge.

Alison was born on May 26, 1954, in Newton, Massachusetts, US. She has a brother named Lou Berns and a sister named Betsy Berns Stark.
She attended John Ward Elementary School (1959–1966) before joining the Bigelow Middle School (1966–1969) and finally graduated from Newton North High School in 1972. She then attended Boston University and then Columbia University.
Alison Berns is an actress and radio host. Her acting career started in her second year of college.
