US election: Donald Trump, Joe Biden will be muted during presidential debate

President Donald Trump and Joe Biden, the candidate of the Democratic party will have their microphones muted in the next presidential US election debate.
In a report by Bloomberg, the commission on presidential debates made the disclosure on Monday, October 19
According to the commission, the mics of both presidential candidates will be on mute for parts of the final debate scheduled to hold at Belmont University in Nashville.
In a statement, the commission on presidential debates said each candidate will have a chance to speak for two minutes at the beginning of each segment during which his opponent’s microphone will be muted.

However, the mics of Trump and his opponent, former US vice president will be turned on for open discussion during the remaining part of the debate.
It was gathered that the decision came after the commission examined changes in response to the first debate when Trump interrupted Biden repeatedly and both candidates talked over the moderator.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Trump will face Biden in a second and final debate.
The debate scheduled for Thursday, October 22, at 9 p.m. ET has six topics including "Fighting COVID-19", "American Families", "Race in America", "Climate Change", "National Security" and "Leadership."
In a related development, President Trump has hinted at leaving the United States of America (USA) should he lose to Democratic presidential candidate in the forthcoming election.
The incumbent said it would be embarrassing for him to lose to the former vice president whose candidacy he has repeatedly mocked.
He was speaking during a rally in Georgia on Friday, October 16, where he spoke for close to two hours while sounding proud to be in friendly territory.
