Governor Sanwo-Olu meets family of man, 55, killed during EndSARS protest

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos on Saturday, October 17 visited the family of the man killed during an EndSARS protest in the state.
Legit.ng notes that Ikechukwu Iloamuazor, a 55-year-old man, was killed by a stray bullet during a protest in the Surulere area of Lagos.
Sanwo-Olu's media aide, Gboyega Akosile, tweeted a video of the governor conversing with Ngozi, the wife of late Ikechukwu.
The governor assured her that the killers of her husband would be brought to justice.
Another media aide to Sanwo-Olu, Jubril Gawat also tweeted a video of the governor at the home of late Iloamuazor's boss.
According to Akosile, the boss, Samuel Okafor, explained what happened on the day Iloamuazor died.
The media aide tweeted:
"Mr. Samuel Okafor, boss of the killed Okechukwu Ilo gave Gov @jidesanwoolu an eye witness account of how his driver got shot during the protest."
Legit.ng reported earlier that the widow of the middle-aged man recently demanded justice for her late husband.
Speaking in a tone of deep regret and pain, Ngozi recalled that her late husband was a lovable man throughout his life.
Meanwhile, Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu recently revealed the identities of policemen who harassed Surulere protesters at Area C Command of Lagos state.
Sanwo-Olu, on his official Twitter page @jidesanwoolu, on Thursday, October 15, listed the officers as Bagou Michael, Ekpoudom Etop, Nnamdi Majura, and Akinyemi Benson.
However, Gbenga Omotoso, Lagos commissioner for information, said that the police was not responsible for the shooting in the Surulere axis of the state.
Rather, the commissioner, while reacting to the incident which claimed the life of at least two people including a police officer, blamed the shooting on hoodlums.
