Comedian Lizzy Jay has reacted to the compensation of N100m given to Oba Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade III, the Soun of Ogbomoso by the Oyo state governor Seyi Makinde.
During one of EndSARS protests in Ogbomoso, youths invaded the palace of the Oba and destroyed some properties.
The youths had invaded the Oba's palace to protest the killing of Jimoh Isiaka, who died on Saturday, October 10, in Ogbomoso.
Taking to his official Instagram page, the governor revealed that he has visited the family of Isiaka and the Ogbomoso king.

According to him, he pledged the sum of N100m to begin immediate repairs of the palace and the replacement of destroyed properties.
The governor did not, however, speak on the amount that was pledged to the families who lost their children to the protest.
Reacting to the governor's N100m pledge to the Ogbomoso king, the comedian stated that it makes no sense for a king to receive such a huge sum of amount to replace a few properties.
