Social media was recently set abuzz after a viral video of former minister Femi Fani-Kayode and his estranged wife Precious Chiwkendu surfaced online. The couple were involved in a heated argument that saw them exchange words.
Hours after the clip circulated online, Fani Kayode has now come out to address the matter in a lengthy statement shared on his official Instagram page.
The politician who maintained that he would continue to take the high horse called out his estranged wife and urged her to stop putting out scandalous information that can ultimately affect the future of their children.
Fani-Kayode said:
"If she has any issues let her use the right medium as a responsible adult and mother and stop secretly feeding the media with damaging scandals geared towards the destruction of our children's future."
Fani Kayode explained that he has been quiet about Precious’ shortcomings for over seven years and has never resorted to exposing her, especially because of their kids. He, however, maintained that there are witnesses and evidence that will be made available to the court when the need arises.

The PDP chieftain who said that he was forced to speak up after the viral video surfaced made it clear that there will be no response available to those who want to know more about the matter.
According to him, his private affairs will remain private because his dignity and that of his kids are important.

"Those involved in this smear campaign are begging for further responses which I will not give them. My private relationship and any disagreements therein are just that: PRIVATE and I have learned my lesson on feeding into parasocial media culture."
"My children and their dignity comes first and I refuse to help these individuals tarnish their image any further."
Still addressing the matter, the politician made it clear that his side of the story which will include testimonies, evidence, documentation etc will only be made available in the court where the issues can be resolved.
