The vice president of the United State, Mike Pence and his wife, Karen Pence have tested negative for the coronavirus.

Pence’s spokesperson, Devin O’Malley disclosed in a tweet on Friday, October 2, that the vice president and the Second Lady have been undergoing COVID-19 tests daily as a routine for months.

He said both of them tested negative in the latest diagnosis which was done on Friday morning.

O’Malley disclosed that Pence and his wife are in good health.

The spokesperson said:

"As has been routine for months, Vice President Pence is tested for COVID-19 every day. This morning, Vice President Pence and the Second Lady tested negative for COVID-19. Vice President Pence remains in good health and wishes the Trumps well in their recovery."

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania tested positive for COVID-19.

The US president disclosed in a tweet that he and his wife were going into quarantine.

The fact that the US president is 74 puts him at risk of developing complications from the dreaded virus that has ravaged the country already.

In a related report, massive reactions have trailed the news that Trump and his wife tested positive for Covid-19.

The president made the announcement on his official Twitter handle in the early hours of Friday, October 2.

The post has since drawn thousands of engagements.
