Career
After finishing school, Smith took several acting courses and appeared in a few commercials to get some extra earnings. Before his acting career took off, he worked as a laborer lifting concrete floors.
The actor has played various roles since the beginning of his acting career. In 2006, he played a bully in Mortified, a TV series about a girl with extremely awkward parents and a crazy life.
In 2008, Smith portrayed Heinrich in the thriller movie The Ruins. In the film, a group of friends' leisurely Mexican holiday takes a turn for the worse when they, along with a fellow tourist, embark on a remote archaeological dig in the jungle where something evil lives among the ruins. The Ruins has been nominated for six awards.
Smith also played a role in Home and Away, the Australian television soap opera that chronicled the lives, loves, happiness, and heartbreaks of the residents of Summer Bay, a small coastal town just outside of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. In Home and Away, Jordan played the role of Damo Nicholls in three episodes of the show.
From 2007 to 2010, Jordan played various roles in six episodes of H2O: Just Add Water, a fantasy TV series about three girls who become mermaids after a mysterious island transforms them and gives them special powers.
In 2009, Jordan joined the main cast of Neighbours, portraying Andrew Robinson in this Australian soap opera that explored the lives and relationships of the residents of Ramsay Street in Erinsboroug.
When Jordan was offered the role of Andrew Robinson in the hit soap opera, he nearly had to turn it down because he was in hospital. He revealed,
"I'd been doing some work as a labourer and I'd been lifting up concrete floors when some of the concrete flew up and smashed into my face. My nose got all swollen and became infected, so I was kept on a drip of antibiotics for a week. I got the call to say I got the part while I still in hospital on the Sunday night (in Queensland) and I had to be in Melbourne by 7 am the next day.
Smith has admitted that Neighbours had to change his character's background story because of his Scottish accent. Andrew was initially meant to have been brought up in Brazil, but the strength of Smith's accent meant that this had to be changed.
On November 26, 2012, it was announced that Smith would be leaving Neighbours. He made his final screen appearance as Andrew on March 29, 2013.
In 2014, he portrayed Clift in Unbroken, and Sci in Kerion. In 2015, Jordan played Private Mulrooney / Private Mulroney in Banished, a TV mini-series.

Ubbe is believed to the first son of Viking Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) and Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland).
His brother Ivar the Boneless was the overall leader of the Army, and he fought alongside his brothers Halfdan (Jasper Pääkkönen) and Sigurd Snake-in the-Eye (David Lindström).
