Real Madrid grabbed their first win this season after beating 10-man Real Betis 3-2 at the Estadio Benito Villamarin on Saturday, September 26.
Having got their title defence off on a shaky note last weekend, coach Zinedine Zidane's tutored side stepped up their game this time around.
Federico Valverde combined well enough with Karim Benzema to hand Los Blancos the lead just 14 minutes into the encounter.
The 22-year-old stretched his leg to connect with a cross from the Frenchman and tapped-in from close range.

Sergio Canales delivered the astonishing cross that led to the equaliser for the home team as the first half began to wind down.
Two minutes later, William Carvalho handed his side the lead for the first time after receiving a pass from Nabil Fekir, controlled it with his right leg and finished up with his left.
Seven minutes towards the end of the opening half, Betis took charge of the game and so it ended in their favour.
Madrid, however, came back into the pitch for the second half with more purpose as they mounted pressure on the home team.
Their strategy paid off just three minutes into the resumption with Emerson scoring an own goal to level parity for Zidane's men.
Captain fantastic Sergio Ramos sealed the victory for the away team from the spot just eight minutes left to play in the encounter.
And that goal became the most crucial for the La Liga champions as they returned to the Spanish capital with maximum points.
They will welcome Real Valladolid to the Bernabeu for their matchday three encounters on Wednesday, September 30.
