This was revealed in a statement released by the senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu.

The former presidential candidate went on to state that it is a new dawn in Edo state, adding that the hard-won victory of Governor Obaseki is a declaration of independence from the anti-democratic forces of godfatherism and militarism.
