BBNaija ex-housemate, Erica Nlewedim, may no longer be on the show but it appears her fans are still strongly behind her, ensuring she becomes even more of a millionaire than the eventual winner of BBNaija.

Recall earlier, Legit.ng reported the news of how the Lockdown housemate was disqualified from the show after she got her third strike for breaking several rules in the house.

Well, despite the heartbreak it caused her fans, they didn't dwell too much on it and shortly after, opened a GoFundMe account to raise the sum of N100m - N15 million more than the grand prize for BBNaija - for Erica.

Within hours, the account had already raised over N3.4 million ($9,026) for the disqualified housemate who until her exit, was incumbent Head of House.

This has got Nigerians reacting in shock and amazement with many accusing her fans of supporting toxic behaviour.

Others, however, are of the opinion that many people contributing to the crowdfunding have misplaced priorities.

The housemate alongside some other contestants had been put up for possible eviction by fellow housemates earlier on in the week.

This makes Lucy the 12th housemate to be evicted from the BBNaija house. After Ebuka announced her name, Lucy refused to hug fellow housemates who tried to bid her farewell.

Following the eviction, several fans have taken to their respective social media platform with reactions. Some expressed disappointment while others simply jubilated at the development.

A staunch Lucy supporter who seemed to be thanking other fans on her behalf wrote: "Thank you all for the love, thank you Lucifers for voting Lucy, I do not take the love and support for granted. Anyways we move and hope the future has greater things in store for her. Thank you #BBNaijaLockdown for the opportunity."
