Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman's passing has seen tributes pour in from all over the world. The Marvel movie, which grossed over a billion dollars, saw South African actors starring alongside the late actor. Some of his Mzansi peers took to social media to pay their tributes to the legendary Boseman.
Dr John Kani played the role of Chadwick's father King T’Chaka in the Black Panther movie. He took to social media to pay his respects, describing the late actor as an "incredible young man".
“Meeting Chadwick, he immediately walked over and said hello baba. He said I worked in Cape Town a couple of years ago and they gave me a Xhosa name Mxolisi and thus been because my oldest son is Mxolisi, we began a father-son relationship.
"People say there was an uncanny resemblance between me and him. I got a call very early about 2am this morning, Chadwick just passed away and you think why am I getting this news, he was an incredible young man."
Connie Chiume took to Twitter and said:

"No!!! I can’t believe this! Such a humble, talented soul. Death be not proud! I am in disbelief."
John Kani's son, Atandwa Kani said:
"I have no words, I love you my brother."
Trevor Noah shared a moving tribute which read:
"Yes this was our king. Not because we served him or because he ruled. But because of how he served us in everything he did. He played a hero on screen and lived like one in real life. From South Carolina to South Africa he made so many of us proud of who we are and for that he will always be our king. Hamba kahle Chadwick... Sizoku bona phambili."

Legit.ng previously reported that famous Black Panther actor, Chadwick Boseman, who also portrayed black icons Jackie Robinson and James Brown, prior to Black Panther passed on.
In a report sighted by Legit.ng on the verified Twitter handle of the actor, it was clearly stated that the famous actor died of colon cancer that he nad been battling with for some time.
Boseman, whose career's honour was to bring King T'Challa to life in Black Panther, died at his home in the Los Angeles area with his wife and family by his side.
Chadwick, according to the official announcement, was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2016, which was then at stage three.
