A Nigerian man with the Twitter handle @SamSoja has proposed to a lady he met on the microblogging site two years after sliding into her DM.
The lady identified with the Twitter handle @_Olayimika took to her page to make the disclosure on Tuesday, August 4.
She shared the screenshot of the conversation that turned out to be the beginning of their friendship.
The young man initiated a conversation on a Monday morning and admitted that he was sliding into her DM on a day that is generally known as the busiest day of the week.
After the young man's admission, @_Olayimika told him that his sliding into her DM on a Monday morning was a sign of goodness as if knowing that he would be engaging her two years later.
Twitter is home to different types of people. Sliding into a lady's DM on a Monday morning would have been regrettable for the young man if @_Olayimika was the unfriendly type.

As expected, Nigerians on the microblogging site took to the comment section of the post to congratulate the young lady.
Some also admitted that they wish to experience the same and asked God to send someone like @SamSoja into their DMs too.
A Twitter user with the handle @DerahO lamented that it is only mad people that usually slide into her DM, asking if it is the same Twitter she uses that the lady is talking about.
@DerahO wrote: "Shei it’s this Same Twitter that all of us are on.. Why is it that it’s only Ndi ala ndi ala that used to come to my own DM.. Issokay..."
Another Twitter user with the handle @littlesaint2080 wrote: "Congratulations to you both, God bless your union. I have vowed never to dm any of my female follower again as though most of them be forming woke... To avoid story that touches the heart."
