Kano Govt: No Doctors - No Clinic!

The Tammy Clinic and Maternity, located along Zoo road in Kano has been shut down by the Kano State government over lack of qualified staff.

Special Adviser to the Governor on Private Hospitals, Dr Salisu Ibrahim, said the clinic has no competent staff, and that it has also not paid its registration fees as stipulated by the law. He urged the proprietor of the clinic to recruit qualified people, and ensure that they pay their fees. Meanwhile, the special adviser has ordered the re-opening of Ahmadiyya Hospital and Al-Iman clinic. Both hospitals were shut down over poor sanitary condition and lack of qualified staff.
