Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has invited a child psychologist called Dr Ayotunde Paul Fasanya to her Grub&Rub show on YouTube.

In the recent episode, the medical doctor spoke about his attraction to children and how no child is designed to be a failure. As soon as he mentioned that the actress said it was true.

According to her, children often mirror what they have seen and heard. Using her son, King as an example, the actress said that she didn't know she had some kinds of characters until her son displayed it to her.

"I remember talking about my son making a reaction and he reminded me of me and by the time I went back and had a reflection, that thing my son did to me pissed me off. The truth is he only learnt it from me. So, if it pissed me off, that means other people must have been pissed off because I'm aware that I do that same thing but I've just never been on the receiving end," she narrated.

Talking about the value of a child psychologist, the mother of one said that the doctor worked with her child and other children from divorced homes or from domestic violence settings.

Noting that a child's environment could influence them, the actress said that she was angry with her late mother for a very long time until she realised that she doesn't have control over a lot of things.

"I had my mother die when I was so young and I put the blame on this woman till I was almost 28. I was simply blaming her on why she wasn't strong enough to live and that made me say that I don't even want to be a mother because I'm not even sure if I'm gonna stay. I could leave the way my mother left and my son could be angry," she said, noting that life would have been easier if she had the help of a psychologist growing up.
