Amid all the protests and chaos that hit many parts of the world and majorly in the US, it is amazing to see a 6-year-old mentioning that her dad's death was not in vain.
It goes without saying Gianna would better have her dad, George Floyd, by her side but for her to acknowledge the change it brought in the world is pretty impressive.
This comes after a video was shared extensively online in which Gianna made an outstanding remark that warmed the hearts of many.
The little one sitting on former NBA star Stephen Jackson's shoulders, a friend of the late Floyd, proudly smiled and shouted: "Daddy changed the world."
This touched many who shared their messages of encouragement promising to make the world a better place for her in the future:
In the short video that was also shared by Jackson on Instagram, Gianna was holding the former NBA star as they walked in the streets of Minneapolis after a short presser where her mother spoke out for the first time regarding the death of Floyd.
Roxie Washington said in the short statement that she wanted justice for Floyd because she knew he was a great man.
She wanted everyone to know that Gianna was denied the chance of ever seeing her father again and Floyd would never see her grow up and graduate.
"I wanted everybody to know that this is what those officers took. At the end of the day, they get to go home and be with their families. Gianna does not have a father. He will never see her grow up, graduate, he will never walk her down the aisle, if there's a problem she's having and she needs her dad, she does not have that anymore," Roxie said.
The sorrowful mother noted the deceased had moved to Minneapolis without them in search of work but still supported them.
