The Peoples Democratic Party Kaduna state chapter has expelled two of its members Dr. John Danfulani and Ubale Salmanduna without further delay, Channels TV reports.
Legit.ng gathered that this was revealed by Abrahaman Catoh, the publicity secretary of the party, on Tuesday, May 26.
The opposition party also slammed Suleiman Hunkuyi, a former senator and ex-deputy speaker of the Kaduna state House of Assembly with a six-month suspension for alleged anti-party activities alongside six others.
According to Catoh, the party's decision to expel and suspend its members was based on recommendations by a 7-man disciplinary committee.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the internal crisis rocking the opposition party in Kaduna state took a curve twist as members of the party suspended on the ground of alleged anti-party activities appealed their suspension.
It would be recalled that Hunkuyi, Hon. Hashim Garba, Ibrahim Lazuru, Dr John Danfulani, Lawal Imam Adamu and Ubale Salmanduna were suspended by the Kaduna PDP caretaker committee on Saturday, May 16.
But in a sudden turn, Hunkuyi, and others, in an appeal letter signed by John Danfulani and directed to the north-west zonal working committee chairman, said they were not given a fair hearing before the decision.
The aggrieved members said they based their appeal ground in pursuance of section 61 (1) of the PDP constitution which gives aggrieved members the "the right of appeal to the immediate higher organ of the party within fourteen days of the decision.”
In other news, the Ondo chapter of the PDP announced its readiness to welcome the state's deputy governor, Agboola Ajayi, if he defects from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The opposition party said it had nothing against the defection of Ajayi from the APC as is being speculated in some quarters.
The PDP, however, maintained that it would not give any automatic ticket to the deputy governor. It assured aspirants in the oncoming governorship primaries of equal opportunity.
