“The youth are enthusiastic about development. They just don’t all know how to go about it, how to get started.

“I noticed a lot of youth called to action during the pandemic were lacking the skills needed to implement their projects,” he said.

Oluwayomi believes that he could equip his peers with the required tools or motivation to make changes happen in their societies.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that the US also honoured another Nigerian, Angel Adelaja, who is doing something really great in the agricultural sector.

She is the owner of Fresh Direct Nigeria, a company that is very concerned with the production of food produce.

The wonderful thing about what she does is that she does a kind of farming that is known as hydroponics, a crop growing system that does not need soil.

Another thing is that though the farming does not use the kind of water the traditional type uses, it produces 15 times more than normal farming.
