A Nigerian lady with the Twitter name Lisa has thrown her support behind Igbo men in the country.

She said that no matter what the situation, they are never known to abandon a woman who they have impregnated.

The Nigerian lady went further to say that even if such a lady is not the wife of the man, the Igbo guy will still take care of the person and the baby.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a Nigerian woman with the name Clara Chekwube spoke about what is expected of a woman in marriage.

In a post on the micro-messaging platform on Friday, May 8, she said "no matter how modern the world gets", she will never believe she and her husband are mates.

Chekwube went further and said that there is always a hierarchy in marriage, adding that she believes as a traditional woman, her "husband is the head of the home. She added that he is the CEO and she could be the manager.

In response to her tweet, a Nigerian man with the Twitter handle @owoyemi_olabode said that his parents' marriage failed because his mother was not submi*ssive to his dad.

He said that he learnt a lesson from that and would never marry a girl who will be in constant ego war with him.

In other news, popular Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, in the mood of International Mother's Day released a moving video to mark the day.

She said that “motherhood is a journey and that was why she decided to share her recorded childbirth video with her fans.

The emotional clip captures Toyin’s journey into the ward down to the process of giving birth. The video is really tension laden as doctors could be seen working with a sense of urgency to make sure mother and child are fine.

Toyin also told all mothers out there that they are special, even as she urged them to remain strong. She also gave a special thanks to her hospital.
