Will you die if you fix Nigeria? - Yul Edochie questions Nigerian leaders

- Famous actor, Yul Edochie, has asked Nigerian leaders why they do not like developing the country

- In reacting to the recently received Abacha's loot, the actor wonders if the nation's leaders belong to a cult that forbids them from helping the country

Popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has again lent his voice to the political issues in the country.

In his tweet on Friday, May 8, the famous actor questions Nigerian leaders who loot the nation without remorse, asking them if they would die if they make the country work well.

He asked them further if they belong to any cult whose oath stops them from making the nation work through qualitative developments.

Yul Edochie said this as he tweeted a screenshot of one Ohimai Godwin Amaize's tweet who commented about the recently recovered Abacha's loot which is in the tune of $311 million (N121,290,000,000).

In the picture, the person said if N1 billion of the loot was allocated to each of the country's public hospitals, there will still be enough left.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that the first lady of Anambra state and founder of the Caring Family Enhancement Initiative, Ebelechukwu Obiano (Osodieme) built two houses for widows at Akwaihedi, Nnewi South and Igboukwu in Aguata local government.

At the presentation of the houses to the widows, her excellency also spoke about the need to stay at home and observe the guidelines on preventing the spread of Covid-19.

“Since this pandemic started, we have all been rooted to our homes. Unfortunately, there are some of our sisters who cannot stay comfortably because they have no roof over their head.

“This is why I decided to come out today to ensure that our sisters stay at home and stay safe by handing the keys to two new two-bedroom bungalows built free by my NGO, CAFÉ,” she said.

The first lady said the donated houses will be furnished with necessary household items to ensure top comfort for the beneficiaries.

In speaking to the people on the need to do good, she said: “Don’t wait till you can make it big, do what you can now to help others; no matter how little.

You are also encouraged to support what we are doing by donating to CAFE and we will acknowledge your support.”

Johnbosco Akaegbobi representing Nnewi South II Constituency in Anambra praised the wife of the governor for the great donations.
