Nollywood actor Akah Nnani has expressed his thoughts about the increasing cases of coronavirus in the country. The actor took to his page on the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to air his opinion.

According to the entertainer, the numbers started increasing since the Chinese doctors arrived in Nigeria.

Akah said this after the NCDC stated that 70 new cases of the deadly infection have been discovered in Lagos state. The actor told the disease control organisation to wake up to the realisation that the Chinese doctors caused it.

The film star went ahead to clarify his tweet. According to him, he does not mean that the foreign doctors caused the increased cases but that they are the cause of everything.

He stated that his tweet is about the distrust he has in the Chinese government.

However, musician Banky W countered Akah's tweets. The singer explained that the increased cases are not the fault of the Chinese doctors. According to him, the true numbers were not exactly reported because of a lack of testing capacity.

In other news, Legit.ng earlier reported that Banky W counselled Nigerians arriving from affected countries.

The renowned media personality directed his message to Nigerians arriving from affected countries. He advised them to obey the instructions of authorities. The musician begged them to self-isolate for 14 days.
