Actress Adunni Ade reacts to Funke Akindele and husband’s arraignment, says it is unfair

- Top Nollywood actress and philanthropist, Funke Akindele and her husband, JJC Skillz, recently got on the wrong side of the law

- The couple was arrested and arraigned in court for hosting a house party to mark a birthday celebration

- Nollywood actress, Adunni Ade, has now reacted to this development by calling out the government

Human beings no doubt know how to castigate others but blur the lines of wrong doing when they are the ones involved.

Just recently, much-loved Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele and her husband, Abdulrasheed Bello (JJC SKillz), got on the wrong side of the law over a birthday party.

The couple had hosted a birthday party at their home located in a private estate and a lot of guests were in attendance. Videos from the small get together made the rounds on social media and people clamoured for the film star’s arrest.

People complained that the couple had contravened the government's order that people should stay at home and observe social distancing due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The couple were eventually arrested and arraigned in court. A video made the rounds from their court appearance and it has broken the hearts of many.

Just recently, fellow actress, Adunni Ade, took to social media to react to the situation. The film star explained that Akindele is a law-abiding citizen and that the guests at the party had been with her for several weeks.

Adunni also said that how everything has turned out is totally unfair and that no one is above the law.

“If you really do not understand the video she put up then you definitely need help comprehending. She is an extremely careful person and does all she can to to be a Law abiding citizen of this country.

She has the same set of people around her, living with her. Same people who have been around her before the lock down. she chose to celebrate her husband with her family who have been in the house with her all along. I wish I could say much but dam*n, this is totally unfair. I hope you are happy whoever you are, wherever you are with this.

No one is above the law but these folks have been with her for well over 2 weeks.

We read and watch videos all over social media of folks attending weddings, funeral, churches and the cops shutting it down, some form of harassment Or even preaching to them to stop church for now but never for once an arrest.

I just saw the disgusting video of her in court and folks all around her, did y’all forget social distancing? The same reason she’s been arrested. No mask ? No gloves, nothing and she’s been arrested???? This is some Bull!
