The coronavirus pandemic has definitely opened the eyes of the citizens of the world to the anomalies in their system that they had always put their trust in.
The pandemic is proving to be a greater evil than was earlier envisioned and even developed countries are struggling with the virus which has no cure yet.
Many African countries have also tried to control the spread of COVID-19 and this is why governments have issued lockdowns on some states.
Another way countries are suffering during this pandemic is the lack of enough medical personnel as well as a crippled healthcare system.
Just recently, Nigerian singer, Seun Kuti, took to his Instagram page to speak on how the government has made our virologists, microbiologists and doctors become bakers, tailors and chefs, event planners and more.
Speaking further, Seun said that the coronavirus pandemic is an eye opener that should enable us evaluate what really matters in our world today.
In the caption of his post, he wrote: “When you are proud to allow your lawyers make your shoes. Doctors sewing cloths scientist planning events and you tell everyone how you are ‘leading a nation’. Shame shame shame.”
