Reactions as Davido tests negative for coronavirus after taking 2nd test

- Top Nigerian music star, Davido, has taken to social media to share the good news of his coronavirus result with fans

- The music star was convinced to take another test for the disease after his fiancée, Chioma, and the governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde, whom he was recently in contact with, tested positive for the disease

- Davido has now revealed that despite taking the test for the second time, his result still came back negative

Nigerian music star, Davido, recently became a cause for concern for several of his fans on social media after some people he got in close contact with tested positive for the novel and deadly coronavirus.

The coronavirus pandemic is a disease that is raging all over the world as even developed countries are struggling to contain it and also reduce the death rates as much as possible.

This is particularly difficult because there is no vaccine for the disease yet. People have been advised to stay at home and to also practise social distancing.

Well, Nigerian musician, Davido, was advised to take another test to ascertain if he has the coronavirus after his first test came out negative despite him being in contact with people who have tested positive.

The Risky crooner has now taken to social media via his Twitter page to reveal that the result for his second test is out and that he is still not infected with the virus.

In Davido’s tweet, he wrote: “I did a second test for the covid19 virus again .... Once again I’m Negative ....”

Just recently, Legitng reported that Davido's wife-to-be, Chioma, tested positive for coronavirus.

The singer made the announcement in a series of tweets on the popular micro-blogging platform. He explained that he recently got back from the United States and his wife-to-be came back from the United Kingdom with their son, Ifeanyi. Ifeanyi, however, tested negative.
