The coronavirus is a pandemic that is ravaging the whole world as even top countries are being shut down and their economy is being crippled due to the disease.
The coronavirus reportedly started in Wuhan, China, and has now spread to all but one continent in the whole world. As it stands, not even popular personalities are safe from the disease as top people in different fields of life have also tested positive to it.
Afrobeats legend, Fela Kuti’s son Seun, has said that coronavirus has taught him that the developed nations have invested more in the destruction of the planet.
The musician shared a photo post with these words written on them:
“Corona has shown me that the so called developed nations have invested more in the destruction of the planet and humans than they have invested in nourishing and preserving for tomorrow. Greed is not good in any form.”
In the caption that accompanied the photo, Seun wrote:
“All the hundreds of billions of dollars spent on DEFENCE, has actually been spent on destroying the other, not protecting humanity or the planet. It is obvious that the world is unprepared to defend itself from a real enemy!! It is clear that all you can do as DEFENCE is to blow up black and brown people and destroy the environment. #getthesax. By the way hunger is killing thousands every day, where is the hysteria on that!! Listen if u are African take care but also you know death is close by, no be corona kill them for Amuwo Odofin ooo!!”.
