Coronavirus: British actor Idris Elba tests positive for disease

The coronavirus is an epidemic that is ravaging the whole world as even top countries are being shut down and their economy is being crippled due to the disease.

The coronavirus started in Wuhan, China, and has now spread to all but one continent in the whole world. As it stands, not even popular personalities are safe from the epidemic as top people in different fields of life have also tested positive to the disease.

On March 16, 2020, popular British actor, Idris Elba, took to social media via his Twitter page to reveal the sad news that he has now also tested positive to the deadly coronavirus.

The handsome actor in a video shared on his page said that he has not started experiencing symptoms of the disease but that he decided to get tested after he discovered that he was recently exposed to someone who had also tested positive.

Idris then told his fans that now is the time to take social distancing and washing one’s hands seriously because the epidemic is real.

In the caption that accompanied the video, he wrote: “This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok; I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing. No panic.”
