Toyin Lawani reveals why she doesn't want to take over her grandma’s throne

Many people know Nigerian fashion entrepreneur and celebrity stylist, Toyin Lawani, as one of the best there is in the country when it comes to fashion and style.

However, not so many people know about her royal background. She recently left social media users stunned with her recent revelation.

She recently shared a stunning photo of herself dressed in an agbada with a black headgear. Sharing the photo, she wished she could sit on her grandmother's throne. According to the fashionista businesswoman, she has been continuously pressured to ascend the throne but she has no interest in it.

In her post, she questioned what type of life she would live as a queen seeing as she already has enough responsibilities as she is.

She wrote: "If I wish I can sit back on my grandmas throne, they have been chasing me for years to do so and I have been running ‍♀️ from it ‍♀️ but what kind of life will I live, already I’m not on the throne I carry everyone’s weight on my shoulder, one thing I can never trade for the world is not being able to be myself ‍♀️"

The celebrity stylist stated that many people have no idea the life she left to build herself from scratch. She further advised people to stay true to themselves as they own no one their happiness.

"You don’t even want to know what I left behind to reinvent myself to who I am today Stay true to yourself craft, Stay true to your calling, But most importantly stay true to yourself ⭐️You owe no one your happiness, love freely cause we are not here forever #kingofallQueens." she wrote.
