There is no doubt that students who attended government schools at one point or the other all have stories to tell about their harrowing experiences, especially when it comes to the matter of feeding and hostel accommodation.
Just recently, Legit.ng sighted a video of Zamfara governor, Bello Matawalle, who appeared to have paid an unexpected visit to a secondary school in his state.
During his visit, the governor witnessed the substandard meal that was being fed to students in the school.
The video going round on social media captured the moment Matawalle made the principal of the school and some other officials have a taste of their medicine. The school officials were seen eating out of the meal as the governor stood by and watched them.

Some months ago, it was reported that Matawalle revoked the contracts awarded to a company - Alliance Trading Company Limited - owned by a former governor of Kebbi state, Adamu Aliero.
The contract worth N25 billion was one of the many contracts revoked by Governor Matawalle during an executive council meeting on Wednesday, December 18, 2019.
The Zamfara state government said the decision was taken because the contractors did not do a good job and some had already abandoned the projects despite collecting a huge amount of money for it.
