Ugandan woman says she got American accent from God after sleeping and waking up
- A Ugandan lady surprised a TV panel after claiming she got her American accent overnight
- The lady named Victoria said she believed it was a gift from God
- The young lady said she had been born again ever since 2003 and that her God worked in mysterious ways
Would it not be nice to wake up one morning and find yourself with a new talent or gift from God?
Well, one Uganda lady is the proud 'owner' of an American accent straight from heaven above.
While on an interview with Uganda's Urban TV, one businesswoman, Victoria Akao, said her newfound accent was an overnight "gift from God".
Victoria said the good Lord does extraordinary stuff and her accent was one of those things. She said she woke up, she found her accent completely different and was okay with it.
"God does extraordinary stuff, right? So I just woke one morning and the accent just came on and I was like 'okay' and people started saying 'Hey what's up with it?' And I was like 'I don't know!' because I did not even realise I was speaking like this, so its God," Victoria said.
She revealed that she could only try speaking Luganda as the accent might have substituted with her new one.
Something one would quickly notice about Victoria was that she kept saying "absolutely" after every 10 seconds.
She added that she was born again and knew the Lord way back in 2003.
Could such miracles happen or was it just another episode of 'who's lying now?'
Be the judge.
