Popular American singer, songwriter and actress, Stephanie Mills has celebrated her son, Farad Mills with stunning birthday photos after he turned a new age.
For the actress, every day is a special moment to celebrate her 19-year-old son with Down Syndrome who turned a new age. Mills gave birth to Farad at the age of 45.
Since then, proud Mills' life has never been the same.
Despite the early discouraging words from naysayers and some friends who wondered how she was going to balance her career with raising a child with special needs, Mills has successfully raised her son Farad.

''This is the day that God has made. On this day 19 years ago I was given my greatest gift of all...my son and was born, Farad J. Mills.
"I never knew Love Like this before”! Many questioned me about having a child at the age of 45. They questioned how I was gonna balance my career, and raising a special needs child (#DownSyndrome),'" Mills recollected in a post on Facebook.
After 19 years, she took to social media to reminisce about the birth of her son Farad Mills and the special moments they’ve shared together.
''Having my child saved my life! God doesn’t make mistakes, and he Blessed me a smart, intelligent, funny, charming, charismatic, handsome, and wonderful young man that is so awesome.
"He lights up a room when he is in it. Yes, there are challenges in life when being a parent. This is a challenge that I wouldn’t change for nothing in the world. Today I celebrate my son's born day. However, he doesn’t know how much he has fulfilled my life,'' Mills said.
Mills celebrated her son with a touching message as she wrote: "Happy Birthday Farad, from your #1 fan in the world. #LoveYourKids make every day their Birthday! Be the hope they hope for. #GodIsLove."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a 28-year-old sickle cell anaemia survivor Musonda Mwilwa fulfilled her dream of becoming a medical doctor.

Mwilwa said she had always wished to be a medical doctor even after she was diagnosed with sickle cell anaemia when she was nine months old, Times of Zambia reports.
It was gathered that the 28-year-old lady was among the 31 doctors that were inducted by Zambia Medical Association at Lusaka Apex Medical University (LAMU) on Thursday, January 30.
