The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday, February 17, reacted to the disagreement between Major Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd), the NSA and President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff (CoS) Abba Kyari.
Legit.ng gathered that Monguno had accused Kyari of hijacking the coordination of security leadership and keeping him on the sidelines when it comes to making strategic decisions in national security operations.
The country’s main opposition in a statement signed by Kola Ologbondiya, its national publicity secretary, noted that the disagreement is a national tragedy.
He also said Monguno’s statement exposes the fact that Nigeria under President Buhari has been on autopilot.
Ologbondiya noted that the untold suffering and growing insecurity in the country is a result of Buhari’s abdication of serious matters of state which he is directly responsible for.
