Baderi specifically said the governor had made serious marks in the area of security and development of the state.

The factional opposition party chairman gave his assessment of Zulum's government and performance in a statement.

He, however, doused any insinuation that may occur from his positive assessment of the government by saying that he and those he leads are not planning to move over to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He said his faction of the PDP simply decided to do away with party politics and sentiments to state what he considers the right position of the state under Zulum, whom he said merits such honour.

Baderi noted that it was surprising that the governor had achieved the feat just within eight months of taking over the saddle of the state.

“It took us 8 months to come to terms with what we consider an obligatory need for us to speak about the kind of Governor Borno is very lucky to have.
