Miyetti Allah says Amotekun will fail, alleges it was created to cleanse South West of Fulani tribes

The South West security outfit, Amotekun has been projected to fail by the Miyetti Allah.
This was disclosed by the leader of Miyetti Allah, Sadiq Ibrahim Ahmed.
According to him, the Nigerian constitution already made provisions for regular security with the establishment of the police.
He, therefore, posited that regional security outfit like ‘Amotekun’ has no constitutional backing.
Going further, he alleged that the reason behind Amotekun is to cleanse the South West of Fulani tribes, the Nation reports.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that one of the leading groups from the northern part of the country Miyetti Allah revealed that they are scared of the Amotekun security initiative.

This was disclosed by the national secretary of the group, Saleh Alhassan.
According to him, if the Amotekun security outfit is allowed to operate, it could turn out to be a disaster for the country. He disclosed this on Tuesday, January 21.
Going further, he described the initiative as a “threat to democracy”.
Reacting to the position of the group, a social media user said Lawrence Ishola Alhassan wasn't guided with his choice of words at all, "and besides what's really their headache about South West security outfit? Honestly we can't continue like this as a country, drastic measures need to be taken," he added.
On his part, Sixtus Patrick Etukudo said: "Have you asked yourself why Amotekun is of a serious concern the Northerners?. Let's keep watching.
